Fruits are always good for health. A healthy diet should  surely contain a bowl of fruits on daily basis.

Continuation with my first post, now I am going to write on other summer fruit, Muskmelon :

Muskmelon:

The muskmelon or cantaloupe is a perfect summer fruit. Its high water content can help take care of the fluid loss that our bodies go through due to perspiration in this season.

As fruit naturally contains sweetness, no additional sweet is required to eat this fruit.

It is concentrated with excellent levels of beta-carotene, folic acid, potassium and vitamins C and A. Best for evening snack, just to munch on.

It is also best for skin. Also helps in reducing blood pressure.

This fruit can be used in the morning breakfast, or evening snack or just like that at any time. J

I am sharing my two favorite recipes.

Muskmelon Bowl:

Cut the fruit into small pieces, add dry fruits like, almond, pista, raisins, cashew nuts, and add little honey to it, bowl is ready to munch on. Or the same mixture can be used with cornflakes, oats. J

Muskmelon Juice:

Cut the fruit into pieces (1 bowl), along with this you can also use papaya (half bowl), add this mixture of fruits into blender, add little mint leaves to it.

Serve the juice with small cubes of muskmelon and dry fruits if you wish.

Not only the fruit, seeds of the fruits are also useful and they are tasty too J

They are used as after bites.
